Amanda Robbert's love of choral music began while singing with the award-winning Grand Haven High School choirs directed by Shirley Lemon. She went on to the University of Michigan and sang under conductor Dr. Jerry Blackstone, and earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education. After graduating, she took a break from music performance to focus on other work. Amanda enjoys spending time with her family – husband Charlie and children Lorelei and Felix. They love to travel, visit family, camp, hike, and play with their adorable collie-mix Gypsy. Amanda had the desire to sing again and joined the Holland Chorale in January 2020, just before the Covid shutdown. After several virtual concerts, she is excited to perform in front of a live audience again!
